Origin and method

About the recap desk

Panel Trail Line began as a stack of handwritten notes after Marvel NFT comics nights in Chon Buri, then became a public recap desk in Pattaya.

Mission

We write recaps that a collector can reread a month later and still recognize the night. Marvel NFT comics community events move quickly; rumor moves faster. Panel Trail Line exists so the queue, the issue titles, and the actual announcements have a paper trail that is not a sales pitch.

Origin

The first notebooks were kept after a beach-road meetup where three different people quoted three different drop times. The disagreement was not malice. Phones had drifted. From that evening the desk treated clocks as evidence, not as decoration.

The public name Panel Trail Line comes from following a trail of comic panels across an evening: splash, sequential strip, credits, then the walk back to the doorway.

People

Recaps are edited at Level 7, 44 Beach Road, Pattaya, Chon Buri 20150. Field notes may be taken by a rotating pair: one person watches the queue, the other watches the screen. Names of volunteers appear only when those volunteers agree to be named.

Working approach

We arrive before doors when the organizer allows it. We stay through the last public announcement. Drafts are checked against photographs and against the order of spoken titles. If we missed a table, the recap says we missed a table.

Values

Honesty about empty chairs. Precision about issue titles. No fake urgency. No invented affiliations with Marvel, Veve, Binance, or any marketplace. Compatibility language, when it appears, is about record formats and external websites, not ownership.

Relationship to the community

Organizers can commission coverage. Collectors can read the journal without creating an account. Contact is by telephone or email only.
